RE: .1

I did that, but can't find a way to get the old HELP.COM to open up
a specified file. It seems always to look for HELP.HLP. I tried the
obvious of specifying the help file as the first argument, but no
workee.

    Hi Dan,

    I have no idea if this will work, but how about the other obvious route
    of renaming your help file to HELP.HLP?

2732.4I didn't try rename, but suspect it will workHANNAH::SCHULLMANDan SchullmanFri Jan 24 1997 07:347
RE: .3

I didn't try it, but I assume that renaming WOULD work. I was hoping to
leave some existing apps/files untouched.

						Thanks,
