2591.6<Any Utilities for '95 ?>SPSEG::BRAMSONFri May 30 1997 15:059
    In the IBMPC-95 notes conference, someone stated that an older version
    of Norton Utilities (?) would allow from old DOS the assignment of
    drive letters. Although I believe I know the answer, I will ask this
    question anyway: is there are utility for Windows 95 that will allow
    one to change drive letters?

    Thanks,

    You should be able to change some, ie CDROM inside Device Manager, I
    haven't toyed with that on disk drives.

From what I understand, there was a SUBST command thingie that would allow
you to redefine drive letters under DOS, but it causes problems for
Windows 95.

    Doesn't it prevent the use of 32-bit disk drivers?
