    	You know, I thought of that, sort of, but got very confused by the
    	likes of 123 [since ONEHUNDREDTWENTYTHREE wouldn't fit in the ind-
    	icated space] ... not to mention an up/down blank with only one
    	clue.
    
    	The other thought I had was a variation of Cross Sums where there
    	was more than one mathematical operator used [123 = 45+40+38, and
    	17 = 45+1-29, for example], but then I realized that that would be
    	way too easy.
    
    	So I blew it off and left it to the experts.
