4157.0. "PW v5.0d eco2 and TGV Multinet 4.0 problem" by GIDDAY::MITROVSKI () Thu Feb 13 1997 19:13

Hi all,

My customer recently upgraded Multinet from v3.5-revA to v4.0 on five PW v5.0d
eco2 servers in order to fix a severe system crashing problem.The servers are
all BDC's in a NT domain but on different subnets.Now he has got the following
PW problem which didn't exist before the upgrade.

1.Although the servers are configured as BDC's in a NT domain,and NETLOGON
service is running,the UAS replication doesn't work.
2.Net logons from PW clients never get validated by a PW server in the same
subnet.

Customer has also logged a call with Multinet but would appreciate if we can
confirm that his problem is not isolated.So,if there is anyone who has
experienced the same problem with Multinet v4.0 and any version of PW,could
please reply or even suggest a solution.

Thanks,
Marjan

    There are two problems with Multinet's PWIP driver (that a Multinet
    engineer told us about). Call CISCO and get their latest PWIP patch.
