I'm still struggling to solve this problem, can anyone help?

I now see the problem with my driver under NT 3.51, when I load 2
boards. Once again, my driver loads and runs successfully on 2 boards
when I decrease the amount of shared memory that I allocate. However,
when I try to allocate more buffers the system gets confused while
booting. The debugger shows that some of the normal services don't try
to load following the successful load of my driver. One may guess that
NT has run out of shared memory and a service is getting 'stuck'
waiting for some. I've also been able to cause the problem with
another boards (released) driver on NT 3.51, by requesting more than
the default number of buffers. So it appears that the problem is not
    mine alone.

I can run the same driver allocating 4 times as much memory without any
difficulties on an Intel platform. Is there anything that I may need
to modify for Alpha, either in my driver, or in the registry?

    Thanks For Any Help,
    Nancy
