How about Baron's at Airport & Academy. They have a great Sunday Buffet for 
about $10, good Bloody Mary's too.

    I won't be riding this one(no kid watcher), but I'll be at a table at

    	Pitkins Ride
    	
    	Every year Kenny Gibbs at Apex Motors organizes a ride to Pitkins
    Co. The cost is $12 which is for a home cooked meal at the Pitkins 
    hotel. Call Apex at 475-2437 and ask for Kenny.
    
    Sunday June 22 riders meet at Apex Motors around 7:30. You basically
    ride in small groups and pick your route and meet in Pitkins between
    11:00 and 2:00 for lunch. Then ride back. I've gone three or four
    different times, once we took daul sport bikes and road over a couple 
    mountain passes. The round trip from Apex to Pitkins is about 350
    miles.

    YES! They only have a fixed number of lunch's. I went last year
    and the hotel has limited seating, but the food was great!
    
    I get so tired of the hot dog and chip lunches normally found at run's.

    	Are you going this year? They bank on the hope that all the riders 
    don't arrive at the same time. Last fall I drove through Pitkins planning
    on eating there but the resturant was closed for the season. 
    
    	Kenny needs the money ahead of time so he can mail it to the women 
    that runs the Hotel. He said last year they allowed 200 people and that
    is the most the resturant can handle.

    Hey Tony! Don't think I'll make it this year. I'm scheduled for the 
    Advanced Rider Course the day before. Can't justify being gone ALL
    weekend. :-)
    
    For a point of clarification, The CSTC ride this Sunday starts at Pace
    Plaza, 1749 S Acad. The (rumored) reason for the change is Conoco isn't
    a sponsor this year. And the run is "supposed" to end at Bikers Closet on
    E. Pikes Peak. They are sponsoring a gathering to promote Motorcycle
    Awarness Month.
    
    That's where I'll be for the afternoon, trying to recruit members for
    my club and passing out info.

	The poker run will end at the same place as last year.  VFW building. 
When your done there, they have recommend going to Biker Closet for the modeling

    	They wouldn't say were this poker run is going. This poker run
    is the second in a series. Each time you go you can register for 
    a Kawasaki water craft that will be raffled off at the last ride.
    
    	I called Mike and he said they are not telling but he heard rumors
    about Sadalia.
    
    	Sponsors are Wildcat MotorSport, Kawasaki, KKFM, Western Omeletts,
    Budweiser, After Shock, Hooters, and Rodeo.

    there once was an Virago owner with a painted tank (Bad Girl) who got
    pulled up by HRO for parking a sexually offence object on DIGITAL
    property/grounds..... So watch out for the thought police!

    The security bozos and tight-assed busybodies got nothing better
    to do than `look' efficient by minding everyone ELSE's freaking business. 
    
    The MKO "Cheer Police" were making the rounds and making everyone take
    down their Christmas decorations last year... never EVER happened before.
    
    I wrote 'em and asked why we don't have a pre-Christmas bonfire to burn
    all the Christmas decorations to get everyone in the Holiday spirit...
    no reply, of course.  (Mindless, spineless A-holes!)

    Hey folks, 
    
    I am not in Colorado, but had a couple of questions for those of
    you there....
    
    How are your bases doing as far as downsizing? Is there any jobs there?
    
    I know.. no one wants " Californians " in their state, but we are not
    all the same.... Yep we are looking around for a new state to call
    home. My other 1/2 wants to get away from the heat, and well he
    thought Colorado maybe worth looking at.
    
    Any advice?
