Help any clues .....My tapeclean does not seem to ne functioning as it should....

I have a two node Cluster - UKSLS - Alias
                            UKSLS1 - Node 1
                            UKSLS2 - Node 2
We run SLS V2.8A Server (Holds tape database) - VAX flavour.
DECNET Phase V OSI
VMS V6.2

From node 2 the following command is O.K...
UKSLS2>STORAGE SHOW VOL 2000

  Volume:      2000                 Owner:      WENDYS::SLS
  Format: BACKUP Brand:
  Allocated: 9-APR-1995 19:39 Scratch: 17-NOV-1858 00:00
  Purchased: 14-MAR-1995 11:38 Cleaned: 14-MAR-1995 11:38
  Media type: TK87K Length: 0
  Mounts: 1 UIC: [SLS]
  Location: DEC_PARK Protection: S:RW,O:RW,G:R,W:

etc etc

From node 1 I get the following ....

UKSLS1>STORAGE SHOW VOL 2000
%SLS-E-INQFAIL, inquire directive failed
-SLS-W-NETCONERR, failed to connect to network task !AS at !%D
UKSLS1>

P.S. .....I can set host from each node to all six variables....

E.G. From UKSLS1 .....SET HOST UKSLS
                      SET HOST UKSLS1
                      SET HOST UKSLS2
                      SET HOST DEC:.REO.UKSLS
                      etc etc

All O.K. from both nodes

Sorry another P.S. ....I have added the nodes UKSLS ...UKSLS1 and UKSLS2 to
the tapedatabase node access list via slsmgr.

STILL NO LUCK

Fixed it ....It appears that it was a NCL application startup script being
root specific. Thus the SLS database object was only being created on one node.
