    I'm trying to find both the source and PC executable for Base64
    encoding/decoding, as well as PC uuencode/decode executables, but
    if winnah is still around my machine can't seem to find it. Any
    other locations where these might be found?

    Thanks,

    Joe

WINNAH was just mirroring the CICA site on the Internet.

You can buy the CICA CD-ROMs. Or visit them on the net. Let's see ...
try ftp://ftp.cica.indiana.edu, or http://www.cica.indiana.edu/ .
And probably a dozen others that mirror it.

    The best place to ask about shareware is in:

    			 HUMANE::IBMPC_SHAREWARE (press KP7)

    There you will find a pointer to the Digital internal shareware list
    in Note 1412:

    		PCBUHD""::sys$public:pc_file_list.txt

    of which a search for UUD returned the following. I didn't have as
    much luck with "binhex" (a single MAC program), but I'm sure a little
    more dedicated searching will turn up something.

    Then again, there's always TUCOWS.

	First, forget UU.

		UU is not equal to Base-64. Period.

	There are some decent Base64 utilities. I have one at
	home, $10 shareware. I can remember to do so, I'll
	send a pointer.

	I got it off one of the shareware nodes that specialize
	in W'95 shareware. I'll bet tucows has it. You could
	search by description faster than waiting for me to answer...
