If you're inhouse, AND you've already installed V3.0 of excursion, you may
try our TIMA candidate, please let us know ASAP of any issues you find.

We are interested in testing in these areas:

o	netscape news font issue

o	Windows 95 color issue

o	CDE crash-on-exit issue

o	PMGR putimage issue

o	Windows failing to go away when exit issue

o	Window-stacking and corruption issues

o	Flashing icons with mwm issue

o	Color-flashing on high-color systems issues

The above are issues I recall off the top of my head that I know we've put
in fixes for.

To try the beta, go to system

	prnsy5.lkg.dec.com

either with ftp or with the \\prnsy5 style (you may need lmhosts file
adjustment for this).  Then get to directory

	\public\excursion\v30_tima

From there, go to the "alpha" or "x86" subdirectory according to which
kind of pc architecture you're on.  Take file

	wxserver.exe

You should rename your original wxserver.exe in case you need it back.  Then,
drop in this new wxserver.exe to the exact directory where your old one was.

I also put release notes in the v30_tima directory.

Please report, as replies to this note, any issues you find with this
candidate ASAP, since we're getting ready to ship.

	Actually, if you try this TIMA version, it would be useful if you put in a reply here even if you don't have issues. Mention what kind of system you tried it on, and what sort of x apps you tried, just so we know what kind of test coverage we're getting. Thanks. /Eric

	Great news! o PMGR putimage issue o Windows failing to go away when exit issue I saw this second problem frequently when exiting from the NetWorker Administrator program (nwadmin) Both problem have been fixed by this TIMA release! Thanks very much! tl

	Tested on Win95 P60 system. Verified that font server support is working again. (!!) Still need to look at my favorite high color issues. ;-) #Gary

	Hi, I download the file upto 901K and it simply hang. I have download for many times and it struck at 901K. Is the disk bad at that sector? Can you please check it out? Thank you Regards, Somnuk
