3233.0. "Foreground / Background Color Question" by MKOTS3::HAHN (SBU Americas Technical Support Group) Mon Feb 10 1997 15:35

Customer is running a system management application using eXcursion. The
application, when run natively on a UNIX workstation, displays a list of alarms
that display as black lettering on a red background. If a user selects an alarm,
that specific line reverses to red lettering on a black background (to
indicate that that record has been selected).

When he runs this application on his NT/Alpha box via eXcursion, instead of
getting red on black when he selects an alarm, he gets yellow and pink.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
 Dave

Please be specific about eXcursion versions. Also, what color depth is
Windows NT set for? (256, 32K, 64K, 16.7M?) What video hardware is in
the system? What version of NT? Have updated video drivers been
installed on the system? Does this same thing happen with any other NT
    system?

As always, if possible, collect a trap file from the customer
    displaying the problem.

(From the NT command line cd into the eXcursion ALPHA directory and
run: wxserver -trap=yellownpink.trp [or somesuch file name.]
Then put the file in a location that we can get to.)
