Officially no (ie it's not in the SPD), unofficially yes.

Hi guestion for the version also

    How about version 3.1-7b with MPC-III (DNSBN-BH) ?

I installed two nis600 with DNSBN-BH and try to down load the v3.1-7b
software, All got the flash memory write error, and nis600 crash. It's the
version problem ? or it's flash memory problem ?

Part of the confusion comes from the DECnis MPC-III and V4.0 Sales Update
Article in note 3422.0. It says the MPC-III will run with V3.1. Just last
week I also had a customer discover by accident that they needed to go to
V4.0 with their MPC-III to work.

The MPC-III was suspect so they obtained a replacement which didn't
light up at all. The second replacement also didn't work until they
reseated some daughter cards in the lower-left hand corner. Ended
up being a 5-day outage while they waited for replacements, received
bad ones, and figured how to get them to work. Customer was CMG in the
U.S.
