| chasSlotModuleVersion OBJECT-TYPE
SYNTAX DisplayString (SIZE (0..32))
ACCESS read-only
STATUS mandatory
DESCRIPTION
"A textual description of the version/revision level for
this module's hardware and firmware. If not available,
this value is a zero-length string."
- From the description, it looks like it's supposed to contain
both the hardware and firmware info. Don't know why you're
seeing blanks though.

| The hub MAM supports these fields. When one is blank, it is because
the module in that slot did not report a value when queried.
A random sampling of hubs here shows version numbers supplied by:
- DECconcentator 900MX at V3.x
- DECrepeater 900 at V2.x
- DECrepeater 90FS, 90TS at V2.x
- DECswitch 900EF at V1.6.x
Earlier versions may also support this. Modules that do not
provide this field include:
- All other DECrepeater 90 modules
- DECserver 90 family
All these modules do supply information for the chasSlotModuleDescr
objects.
