3329.0. "How do I attach a DEChub900 to a DELNI???" by SCASS1::GALVIN (The Energizer Bunny's Trainer...) Wed Mar 06 1996 12:43

    		Connect a DEChub900 to DELNI

    We've got a dh900 with a DECswitch900 that's got routing turned on.  I
    setup the AUI port, (#2) and have it connected to a DELNI. It's setup
    for IP and the IP address is 166.34.121.239 and my mask is
    255.255.255.0

    I tried to configure port #3 to be a 166.34.114.X network with hopes
    that I could use a 32port repeater and set it up as a 166.34.114.X
    LAN.

    I want the DECswitch to act as a router, but I can't get it to
    recognize the repeater...

    Can someone point me to reading material or answer my question? How do
    people attach a DEChub900 if they are using a DELNI?

    thanks,

    /Mic

Mic,

It should work ok, I've done it. Are you sure port 3 is connected to the same
lan interconnect on the hub backplane as the repeater? To see this, look in
hubwatch view menu and select lan interconnect.
