3306.0. "problems with Port switch 900fp and backplane connections" by CSC32::YOUNGWIRTH () Fri Feb 23 1996 15:50

    	I have a customer with Port Switch 900fp. When looking at the
    Lan Interconnect screen the tag for the 900fp is not pulled down to the
    thin-wire, BUT traffic still seems to be being passed to/from the
    thin-wire to the 900fp ports 1-2.
    	Ports 1-2 are the default connection to the thinwire in port
    switching screen. In the repeater summary screen at the bottom the BP
    or "13th " port shows the BNC connector yellow and the switch is a
    dotted line and red.
    	If he clicks on the switch it changes to a red open switch and then
    all traffic from ports 1,2 to the thinwire is stopped.

    	Is this expected behavior???

    	Any suggestions??

    Thanks
    Mark
