This is true. The DECconcentrator900's "port trap" does not have a
corresponding "TRAP-TYPE" definition in the DEC ELAN Vendor MIB.

See note 3203.1. Sorry, I forgot that port traps weren't in the MIB.
I won't even try to explain why the port trap isn't defined in the MIB -
except to say it's an argument I lost. If you think it should go in the
MIB, please contact the product manager.
The TRAP-TYPE definition went into the products release notes at one
point. Recreating the shell of it from memory:
decConcentratorPortTrap TRAP-TYPE
ENTERPRISE { elanext } -- This might be wrong!
VARIABLES { fddimibPORTConnectState }
DESCRIPTION
""
::= 1
Basically the trap contains the value of the FDDI MIB object
fddimibPORTConnectState.
If I find more info, I'll send it. If you need the information right
away, complain to the product manager.
