A customer who is looking at purchasing a DEChub 900 (with PORTswitch 900FPs, DECrepeater 90TS and DECserver 90M) has specified that they must be capable of operating in an environment that has an EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) reading of 55 Gauss. This has really got me stumped. Can anyone explain what a Gauss is (and how much EMI it is) and whether 55 is OK??? Jeannie

I've found out something from the DEChub 900 System Spec on Immunity: "we meet requirements for full field Class 1 CE label on DEChub 900 and all new half-height and full-height modules", but what is full field Class 1 CE label? Any ideas? | |||||
