3076.0. "Setup for PROBEwatch?" by NBOFS1::JAKOB () Mon Dec 18 1995 09:56

     Question: Is there any cook-book for setting up a new probewatch-
                installation on AXP's with operating system Digital UNIX?

                What's about the daemon's for logging and reporting?

                Where can i find the actual manual for PROBEwatch for
                Digital UNIX?

    Thank you

3076.1No proper manual for ProbewatchZPOVC::YINGYONGThu Jan 04 1996 01:309
    I have got the same probelm. I have been probing in the dark trying to
    set up Probewatch in Netview with the Probewatch manual for Windows and
    I actually am working in Unix platform.

    I have not been able to talk to the Probewatch agent after trying for 2
    weeks and the Windows manual did not help. There are parameters like
    agent name, group, domain, etc to be set.

    Perhaps Probewatch Admin manual is what I need. Is there any ?
3076.2Bad support for PROBEwatchNBOFS1::JAKOBThu Jan 04 1996 05:288

    I know, that there is no good documentation for PROBEwatch because
    it's no DEC-product. The support is also not good. But this is no
    answer for me.

    Who can help us?
