2968.0. "90FS/90FA ports active?" by KAOFS::R_YURKIW (reward those who bring bad news!!) Fri Nov 10 1995 11:27

This may be a very basic question but I can't find it documented.

Simply put.. on repeaters such as the decrepeater 90FS or 90FA, are
both the fibre and AUI ports active simultaneouly or can you use only
one of them in a network.

    regards

    Roger

I can tell you for sure that all ports are active simultaneously on the
    90FS.

ANy plans to document this? Folks get it confused with the DECbridge
90 and, as a result, don't sell that capability!

    re: .4

This is a good point and exactly why I asked the question in the first
place. I looked in several manuals referencing the dechub products and
it did NOT mention this capability anywhere. I may be intuitively
obvious however I did not want to make a wrong assumption without
    asking first.
