2905.0. "Need help with HUBloader" by SNOFS1::KHOOJEANNIE (Humpty Dumpty was pushed) Thu Oct 26 1995 07:15

    A customer here is having a strange problem with running HUBloader ...

    He is running concurrent IPX and IP (LAN Workplace for DOS) stacks (ODI
    driver), and loaded the HUBwatch disks (application only, no network).

    HUBwatch runs fine, and he can manage his network components, and he
    can also start HUBloader, which shows him the current versions etc ...

    However, when he runs TFTP server followed by HUBloader to upgrade
    firmware, HUBloader doesn't work anymore, and he can't see anything
    through HUBloader until he stops TFTP server. Any ideas what could be
    causing this?

    All help will be much appreciated

    Can you provide more details about what happens when "HUBloader doesn't
    work anymore"?

2905.2Cannot see moduleSNOFS1::KHOOJEANNIEHumpty Dumpty was pushedFri Oct 27 1995 01:225
    HUBloader no longer shows any information on the module (like firmware
    version etc) and you can no longer ping the module. When you close
    TFTP server you can ping the module again.

2905.3Is the Firmware Upgraded?NETCAD::DJERBAKAFri Oct 27 1995 15:2311
    Are you saying that when you select 'LOAD', HUBloader does not enter a
    POLLING state to report Load Status to you?

    Is the TFTP server counting out block transfers at this time?

    IS the Load successful?
    Does the Firmware get upgraded?
    What exactly is 'Not Working'?
