    I have installed a DECconcentrator 900MX in a dechub 900 at a customer
    site. The idea was to have the customer buy and install an FDDI Nic
    card for their server and put it off of the concentrator. Sounds good.
    
    
    The DECconcentrator is the DEF6M-MA with 6 MM pmd's with fddi MIC
    connectors.
    
    The customer ordered a DEFPA-AA dec FDDI controller/pci SAS /MMF duplex
    SC connectors.
    
    I have not gone on site yet since the controller was delivered however
    the customer is telling me that the BN24B cable I gave him does not
    connect into the SC connector on the nic card. I looked up in the books
    I have and can find SC to SC cables, ST to SC cables ST to MIC, ST to
    ST and MIC to MIC jumpers but I can't find a cable that will go from
    the MIC to SC.
    
    Have I done something wrong here?
    
    Is there a cable for this configuration?
    
    I am now concerned that I have assumed the wrong thing. Maybe the
    server can't be put on the fddi ring...
    
    Urgent help is greatly appreciated.
