2347.0. "X Toolkit errors when using HUBwatch V4.0.1" by SSSAXP::LEMONS (And we thank you for your support.) Tue Jun 06 1995 16:56

    HUBwatch V4.0.1
    DEC OSF/1 V3.2

    Hi

    I'm seeing numerous X Toolkit warning and fatal errors when
    using HUBwatch on the system on which it is installed (a DEC 3000 Model
    600). Oddly enough, I'm not seeing the errors when I display to other
    nodes. Here's just a few of the lines I see. Any thoughts?

    Thanks

2347.1Multiple Motif Applications?NETCAD::FORINOTue Jun 06 1995 20:005
    The only time we have seen this problem is if you are running multiple
    Motif applications simultaneously. The last item in the release notes
    under the General HUBwatch Use Issues section talks about this.

2347.2Try exiting other applicationsSTEVEV::VINGERHOETTue Jun 06 1995 20:077
HUBwatch for OSF doesn't handle colors very well when other applications
such as NetScape (applications that potentially use many colors) are currently
invoked.

Try exiting non-critical applications and see if this helps.

    Thanks for the suggestion; sorry for not remembering this. I exited
    from only the NetScape application, and HUBwatch is now running
    solidly.

    Thanks again!
