I have recently installed HUBwatch for Windows on a PC. The PC
is running Pathworks V5.1 with an IP stack installed and running.
Therefore, I selected to install HUBwatch only as outlined in
the HUBwatch Installation and Configuration Manual.
The problem I,m having is that I'm unable to connect to any Hubs
when I launch HUBwatch - the response I get is "No response from
the agent". I'm trying to connect to DEChub 900's with DECrepeater
900TM's installed in slot 8 acting as the agent. I have tried to
connect to several Hubs with this configuration without success.
I am able to ping all of these Hubs successfully from Pathworks.
I have combed through the Hubwatch for Windows Installation and
Configuration and Use manuals and verified that the setup appears
correct.
I even went and upgraded the firmware on the DEChub 900's to V3.1
with DECndu on the PC successfully but I,m stumpled as to why
HUBwatch is not getting a response from the agent. BTW, I am able
to launch HUBwatch from an OSF/1 platform and connect to these
Hubs successfully so I don't think it is a Hub configuration problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thx...Jim
