I've just received the Sales Update article for HUBwatch 4.0. Will this version install on Windows NT? Is it supported on Windows NT? Will it run on Windows NT? If so, will it run on Windows NT AXP as well as Windows NT x86? PJDM

HUBwatch V4.0 is the same as V3.1 with respect to Windows NT. There are numerous entries herein about V3.1 compatibility. I know the next question is "when will HUBwatch fully support NT?" The answer is "in the future". Send mail to NAC::FORREST if your customers need full NT support now. | |||||

I already sent mail: it didn't do any good. I have read the notes about 3.1. I gather HUBwatch does actually work (albeit unsupported) on Windows NT, although we couldn't get it do so at the customer's site. However, I know it won't install. Will v4.0 actually install on Windows NT? The next question wasn't "when will HUBwatch fully support NT?" because I already know the answer. I don't care if it's not supported, I just want it to work. I have two customers with DEChub900s, one of whom is all Windows NT, and the other moving that way. Neither of them can manage their hubs. A spare Windows PC is not a solution. (Hint: security.) We're stuck. PJDM |
