    We will be installing
          Windows for workgroup (3.11)
          HUBWATCH
HP OPENVIEW for workgroup node manager

I remembr reading somewhere you need to install pathworks
if you want to install OPENVIEW on windows for workgroup. Is
     this true?

I would appreciate if somebody can tell me if I need to install
any other s/w for the above combination to work

    Thanks
    Radha

Thanks, Just confirmed you need PAthworks with HUBWATCH for
Windows for workgroup and not for OPENVIEW.

    This is not true.

You need a TCP/IP stack with HUBwatch for Windows. The stack can
    be from DEC(PATHWORKS), HP OPENVIEW(FTP), Wollogong, 3COM, MS, ...

I believe you are best off getting HP OpenView for Windows running with
the stack, which they supply from FTP. I am not sure that the WFW stack
supports all the calls that OpenView makes.

Then install HUBwatch without the network option.
