1955.0. "Display refresh problem Hubwatch V3.1" by KERNEL::WARDJO () Wed Feb 01 1995 12:34
Hello,
A customer is having problems with screen refresh with hubwatch
V3.1 for windows. The screen is not refreshed correctly when a dialogue
box is overlaid. An example is the welcome box, once the OK button has been
clicked the box dissapears but leaves a blank square.
In other cases the display underneath is refreshed but offset from the
original top display.
It can be cleared by doing a refresh of the screen, but the customer is
finding it very annoying.
Hubwatch for Windows 3.1.0
MSDOS 6.2.
Customer has tried it on several PCs, including a DEClpx 486, all have
had more than the minimum hardware config as per the SPD. Have used
Etherworks 201 & etherworks 205 (III) cards with same results.
Using hubwatch on a 90 hub or a 900 hub makes no difference.
I am inclined to think it may be something on the PC setup but would be
grateful for any help.
Thanks,
Jon

| I have just spoken to the customer & he said he made a mistake, and
in fact the problem only occurs on ICL PCs with the HRA10 Video adaptor
& the windows driver ICLHRA800x600/256/small fonts.
I suggested he talks to ICL about it but he pointed out he has no
problems with other windows applications that he runs.
Has anyone seen anything similar?
Jon
