Hi, In DECagent 90's SPD, it states that the DECagent 90 can proxy for multiple DEChub 90 backplanes. If I have three DEChub 90 blackplane with Bridge 90 on each of it and I just insert one DECagent 90 on on of this HUBs, does it work? I mean only one DECagent 90 for 3 HUBs. If yes, how to connect it? Thanks for your help in advance. Kenneth Leung

The 1 agent 90 can be put in any hub or standalone. You must configure an IP address via the agent console. The hubs can be hooked up in a variety of ways but probably some sort of a backbone will connect the front of the DECbridge 90's together. You then need HUBWATCH. Go into the COMMUNITY MANAGE TABLE and add the DECagent 90 in the upper half. In the lower half you will add in the other 2 hubs, ie. the ones that only contain the DECbridge 90's and you are done. Allow the DECagent a few minutes to poll the bridges and update its tables and everything should show up just fine. You will have to manually add terminal servers but 90M's or 90TL's will at least be auto-discovered. dave |
