1539.0. "HUBwatch for ALPHA VMS again" by STROP::LAYLAND (The good die young, the wealthy stay healthy.) Fri Oct 07 1994 14:25

From notes 779 and 433, asking for the version of HUBwatch
for AlphaVMS, there are still no dates. I presume it will
work, but support would be an issue.

Just to be completely and utterly clear...

	+---------------------------------------------------------------------+
	| There exists no version of HUBwatch which will work on OpenVMS AXP. |
	+---------------------------------------------------------------------+

If this is a problem, you should contact HUBwatch product management.
Either Mike Bouchard or Jack Forrest.

Let me repeat... You cannot run HUBwatch V3.1 under OpenVMX AXP.

If you run it through a translator, it's YOUR problem. Please do
	not tell us about it.

The currently supported platforms are Windows, OpenVMS VAX, and
DEC OSF/1 AXP. OpenVMS AXP is not currently on our schedule.

1539.2DUmb question...DPDMAI::DAVIESMark, SCA Area Network ConsultantFri Oct 07 1994 20:498
Am I correct in assuming that the statement "OpenVMS Alpha is not on
our schedule" means that there are currently NO plans to implement
    HUBwatch on OpenVMS Alpha systems.

    Correct?

Yes. As of today, there are no scheduled plans for OpenVMS AXP. (Although it
has been talked about a bit.)

Personally, I'd *love* to have an alpha running VMS in my office. Your cards
and letters to product management demonstrating a need could help this. :-)

Alas, also see note 1535. :-(
