1345.0. "Hubwatch lost color and poll-down menu" by GIDDAY::KO (Anthony Ko @SNO - Digital Consulting, Australia) Thu Aug 25 1994 06:59

Hi,

When I started up the Hubwatch for OpenVMS V3.0.0 using WATCH/AGENT 'IPaddress',
a lot of error messages were returned...

The physical layout of a DEChub90 with modules was displayed but without any
colours. It lost the poll down menu as well.

The Hubwatch was working fine a few days ago but now it did not work. I wonder
the data file(s) is corrupted!...? How can I recover it?

Any ideas?

Thanks & Regards,
Anthony

What else are you currently displaying on your workstation? Are you
running something like Xv or Mosaic that is using a lot of colors? The
messages that you received indicate that your colormap entries are used
up. Unless you are running on an old workstation that only supports 16
colors, this usually means that you are running some other color
    intensive application.

John,

You are absolutely right! I had Mosiac running on my workstation which is a
VS3100 M48 when I fired up the Hubwatch.

Thanks for your quick answer.
