987.0. "HUBwatch for Windows over Token Ring to a DH 900 via a router" by 36932::SCOTT (Scott Stuart - MARVA Network Sales Support DTN 341-3132 - MARVA District) Fri May 13 1994 20:29

I have the same question as note 873.0 (no replies).

Is it possible to configure HUBwatch for Windows to manage a DEChub 900
using a PC with a Token Ring controller? The customer has Cisco
routers configured with Ethernet and Token Ring interfaces to provide
IP routing between the disimiliar LANS.

They are runnning NetWare, but can configure with a Novell
NDIS driver. Any reson this shold not work?
Has anyone done this?

I will post the results after they try it.

If you are using the Hubwatch-provided IP stack, this will probably
not work. The Hubwatch kit does not provide dllndist.exe and
srm.exe which are necessary for token ring. It would be nice if the
readme files either mention this or these files are included in
    future kits.

Thank you, thank you (thunderous applause in background)!

Actually, I was beating my brains out trying to get this working
for a customer when I realized what the problem was. Decided to
    save somebody else the trouble.
