904.0. "DECbridge 90 and TCP/IP" by MLNTSC::DOMANESCHI () Fri Apr 15 1994 13:20

   Hi all,

   I am looking for DECbridge 90 system managment documentation,on node
   NAC:::SMART_HUB90: I see only the owner's manual.

   My customer would filter TCP/IP packets is it possible this?
   In the ownr's manual this is not explained.
   Thanks in advance.

    The owners manual is the only one on the hardware. After connecting to
    the bridge type help and it gives examples. Use HubWATCH and set the
    filters with point and click. The HubWATCH users manual has details.

   Thank you for the reply.
   This mean that the customer must buy the HUBwatch software?
   Thank again.

904.3Protocol filters are documented in the Owner's ManualROGER::GAUDETBecause the Earth is 2/3 waterWed Apr 20 1994 16:579
Paolo...

As Ed pointed out, the only documentation on the DECbridge 90 is the Owner's
Manual. However, this document does give information on how to set the protocol
filters from the MOP console, so your customer does not need HUBwatch. What Ed
was saying is that using HUBwatch's graphical interface is much easier than
using the command line interface of the MOP console.

    Actually thats what I was trying to imply in the second sentence. I
    guess thats what happens when you reply remotely and try to save
    words.
