558.0. "AUI & 90's serie" by PRSSUD::CARRAYROU () Fri Dec 10 1993 17:13

    In the draft documentation of DR90TS I saw 2 connectors on the back
    pannel  (a 48-pin connector and a 160-pin connector ) .

    I don't see the AUI port on the front bezel , so I suppose that AUI port
    come with the docking station.

    Does the docking station use this 160-pin connector to offer the AUI
    port .

    In this case all the old 90's modules cannot use this AUI port.

    thanks

You are correct that the back panel (I'd prefer not to call it a
docking station) on the DETMI will provide the AUI connection, and that
this back cover will not be able to be used on older 90 modules to
provide an AUI. Only the DETMI will have the AUI out the back at this
point, and there are no plans to make any changes to add the AUI to
the existing modules.

    ... and if there is documentation which shows a 160-pin connector on
    the DETMI, it is incorrect. Only the 48-pin connector is present, as
    this is a 90-size module.
