This note is cross posted in NOTED::MCC.

I tried registering a packetprobe 90 on DECmcc/VMS and it only partially 
registered. The probe is working fine as I'm using the probewatch s/w. I
can register an Ultrix system on DECmcc/VMS as an snmp entity so mcc
appears to be ok. I can ping the packetprobe from the mcc system.
 
Are there problems in using the packetprobe with DECmcc. I want to send
snmp traps from the packetprobe to mcc. Will the partial registration 
effect this ?
