You mean LAT services? If so, the DECserver 900TM (and DECserver 700)
manager the size of the LAT services table by an explicit command. If
you set the limit to "NONE", then available memory is the only limit.
That will depend on if you have 2 MB or 4 MB in the DECserver. The
default limit is 200.

Yes, based on the inclusive OR or all group codes enabled on all ports.
The newer code (BL54 and up) implement LAT solititation, whereby the
service does not need to be in the LAT database to make a connection.
The DECserver sends a solicit message, and listens for a response from
suitably capable LAT "responders".

This last question makes little sense to me. If we are indeed talking
about LAT services, WAN is non sequitur, and the protocol is LAT.
Are yoy talking about other kinds of "node addresses"?
