324.0. "DECHUB 90 Configuration Question" by DV780::SMITHR () Tue Aug 03 1993 04:26

    I am putting together the following DECHUB 90 configuration. Does it
    follow the guidlines?

    DECMR is the DECrepeater 90.
    DEWGB is the DEC bridge 90.
    The DECserver 200 will be connected via a AUI to Thinwire MAU.
    The CHIPCOM HUB is a fiber optic DELNI for all intents and purposes.

    My question concerns the thinwire segment connected to the port on the
    side of the DECHUB 90 backplane. The rest of the configuration works
    fine as it is. I am wondering if I connect to the HUB's side port will
    I be breaking any guidlines?

	Looks OK to me; just be aware that the hub uses up 65 meters of the
	185 you would normally have. You have 120M left for the 4000 and
	DS200.

    Thanks for the reply back. I did not know about the 65 meters on the
    hub.

    Thanks again,
