I saw this once also, and thought I must have just disabled it for some
reason (the bridge I use for experiements in my office), and just put
it back and forgot about it. Obviously it's not supposed to happen, but
go ahead and spread the word that it might happen and to look out for
it. I'll try to reporduce it.

I think I have the same problem. Is there a newer firmware release which
fixes it?

The impact is that, after a power failure at the hub, you have to hook an
old VAX up to the PC network the bridges are on and re-enable the port.
This is an un-graceful way to recover!

The DECbridge 90FLs report DEWGF V2.1 FPROM V3.1 1-OCT-92. LIST PORT 1
reports "Port 1 is enabled" but after a bridge reset port 1 shows
Disabled state: 1.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Get V3.9. It was released to SSB last winter and it DOES contain a fix for that
SPECIFIC problem. The current version of the HUB Consolitatin Kit still has
V3.1 but 3.9 will be included on a future release.
