1) Can you connect computer systems with fiber ethernet cards directly
into the decrepeater 90FL or 900FS or can they only be connected to other
repeaters?

2) Did we work with CHIPCOM on the dechub fiber products?

3) With the packet monitor can we look inside an ethernet packet?(guts)

    If the fiber cards comply with 10BaseFL or FORIL then should work
    just fine. If you only have an AUI port then you can use the DEFLM-AA
    directly on the AUI port and then take the fiber to the fiber repeater.

> 2) Did we work with CHIPCOM on the dechub fiber products?

    Chipcom uses 10BaseF which is a synchornous fiber signalling. When
    you go into or out of their fiber star, you do not count those as
    repeaters. Chipcom was to have created some product to comply with
    the more popular FORIL and 10BaseFL as they cannot interoperate
    with most other vendors.

> 3) With the packet monitor can we look inside an ethernet packet?(guts)

    I understand yes but as to what extent I'll leave to others more
    knowledgable than I.

    The packet monitor supports all 9 RMON groups and can look inside a
    packet.  See NAC::MANAGEMENT:RMON*
