268.0. "DEWB* Int-IS-IS and TCP/IP questions?" by WOTVAX::64021::Tim_Banks (Stealth Marketting :-)) Mon Jun 14 1993 09:39

I hope this is the correct forum for these questions as I can imagine there
will be an awful lot on the WB90 (DEWB* product) very soon.....

Brouter 90 -

It was unclear from reading the SPD, so perhaps someone could clarify this
for me, the customer wants to route TCP/IP over X.25

-- does Integrated IS-IS routing work over an X.25 datalink connection/PSDN?
-- does Int-IS-IS over X.25 work to a DECNIS from WB90?
-- does the WB90 support RFC877? (I couldn't see it in the SPD but it is so
   common I thought it may have been omitted)

What the customer actually wants is the WR90 with Flash (not available yet),
using RFC877 but he has a large number of DECNIS so Int IS-IS may be the only
way to sell 65 HUBs with a router in each.

Thanks

Tim

PS there are no suitable load hosts at these sites, and only X.25
connections.........
