1008.0. "Messages Marked PRIVATE" by ALFSS1::SABIN (Behind the 8-ball ..) Thu Apr 17 1997 01:08

    Has anybody experienced problems accessing Private marked messages
    in another persons' mailbox? This 'feature' or 'bug' only happens
    in Outlook. The Private messages are accessible through Exchange.

    Here is the scenario:

    Two users A and B.
    User B has added User A's mailbox to their Outlook profile.
    User A has added User B as a Delegate (under Tools \ Options \
    Delegates), and setup User B with Owner role permissions on his Inbox
    folder.
    User B can see and access the Inbox and all messages, except for those that
    have been marked and sent as PRIVATE.

    From what I have found, the PRIVATE messages scenario should happen if
    User B has only been setup as a Delegate. But, if the actual
    permissions are set on the folder, then I would think that User B
    should be able to see even the PRIVATE messages?

    In this scenario, the Private messages can be seen in Exchange, but not
    in Outlook. Is this a 'feature' or 'bug'? Does anybody know?

    Thanks for any help.
