1071.0. "Remote management of Exchange" by CHOWDA::GLICKMAN (writing from Newport,RI) Tue May 20 1997 20:54

My customer is off and purchasing several copies of Windows NT
Workstation for PCs he was running Windows95 on because he thought
he read somewhere that in order to remotely manage Exchange you need
    Windows NT and not Windows95.

Can someone comment on his concerns? I am very new to Exchange
    system management.

    Thanks.

The current Exchange Administrator program only runs on Windows NT
Workstation or Server. There is no Windows 95 version.

If you need to use Windows 95, you can use a screen stealer (Remotely
Possible, PC Anywhere, Remote Desktop, etc.) to take over the Exchange
Server screen (or another NT box that happens to have the Administrator
program installed) and manipulate Exchange. It's relatively quick if
you are on a LAN. (It also gives you the benefit of addition control
over the server, from an NT point of view.)
