1035.0. "Exchange & the Client Access License?" by CHOWDA::GLICKMAN (writing from Newport,RI) Fri Apr 25 1997 01:10

    The installation of the Exchange Server prompts for the Client Access
    License. Is this the same license you have for Windows NT or does
    Exchange require its own?

    Thanks.

There is a server license and a seperate CAL for each client (even
Web or POP3). The CAL for Exchange is not bundled into the desktop
OS.
1035.2Where do you get CALs?CHOWDA::GLICKMANwriting from Newport,RIMon Apr 28 1997 21:422

	There is a corporate wide agreement for CALs. Just
	use the License Manager to add some.

1035.6What about the demo of the Exchange 5.0 Server?CHOWDA::GLICKMANwriting from Newport,RITue Apr 29 1997 08:314
    What about the 120 day demo of the Exchange 5.0 Server?
    Do they have to buy Exchange CALs for clients attaching to that?
