991.0. "Accessing Personal Folders from two places (almost) at once" by SSDEVO::MORGAN (Brad Morgan, DTN 522-3449) Wed Apr 09 1997 23:11

I want to be able to read mail from both my desktop machine (an
AlphaStation running NT 4.0) and my home computer (running Windows 95).

This works for the MailBox folders.

For Personal Folders, this can be done if I put the .PST file on a shared
disk but only if I remember to exit Exchange on my desktop before I go
home.

I'd guess that eliminating this restriction is improbable but is it
possible to force the remote Exchange Client to quit from my home machine?

Thanks,

Brad

Symantec's pcANYWHERE32 or any of the remote control programs would
let you drive your W95 system from your NT system.
