If an Exchange server has two connectors (A and B): A has a cost of 1 B has a cost of 99 All messages should take the lowest cost route i.e. use connector A. However it has been noted that even whilst connector A is functioning correctly, sometimes messages are still routed via connector B. Does anybody have a reasonable explanation or any useful experience of this anomoly. Thank You, Neil Eke, Eke@mail.dec.com

Neil, Are the two connectors on a messaging bridgehead or two different servers ? If they are on two different servers then I could see the reason why, if they are not then I don't know. Nigel. |
