I am using Outlook and word as mail editor. This setup recognizes
(highlights and underlines) mail addresses and URLs in a mail message, so
you can hyperlink to it by just clicking on it in the message.
Links to URLs work fine, but mail addresses are linked also to my Browser,
not back to Outlook. I checked in all the option menus in Outlook and could
find where is the link established.
In the Win95 file associations I found one that reads:
URL:Mailto Protocol
This one point to Outlook. Other association that start with URL
(Goopher, News, Secure, Telnet) point to Netscape. Also one that reads:
URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol
I don't want to change it before I know it is the right connection to the
highlighted link in Outlook.
Anyone knows id this is where the link is established?
