| I need to capture the PROFILE and Profile password, if it exists, from within
EFD Visual Basic code. If I'm unable to do so I'll have to prompt the user
for the profile and password he's already using. I am using MAPIsend.exe (see
below) on an Alpha to send a data file to a mail-enabled trouble ticket
program. I can get environment variables with the "Environ" RTL routine, but I
don't know how to grab the Exchange Profile information.
Any help or pointers will be greatly appreciated. I will cross-post in the
VB conference..

Note:
MAPIsend.exe is a variation of the Resource Kit's sendmail.exe only better
because it can send the contents of a file as the message text if you choose
AND I have a version that runs on Alpha...

| You might have more luck writing your own version of MAPIsend that
will use the current login credentials and default profile instead of
the way mapisend works.. If you are just sending mail it is not that
much work.
MS did say a while back that they would make the source code for
mapisend available in the V5.0 res kit but I havent seen any sign of
the resource kit yet.
