In the apparent absence of the Atari8 conference, I hope posting and 8-bit
question here is acceptable?
My father-in-law has an old Atari 800XL with 1047 printer which he uses
regularly (it's old but it works and he's still really pleased with it).
Unfortunately, his last print roller is just about dry now and we're
having problems tracking down replacements (surprise!). Does anyone know
of a UK supplier I could try? Failing that, does anyone know if there's a
way to rejuventate old print rollers (soak in ink or something equally
low-tech)?
Suggestions gratefully received.
