1190.0. "ORBITUS ??" by LOOKIN::DSMMGR (Pigman, Pigman, ha ha charade you are...) Wed Oct 16 1991 07:34

On a cover disk, I got a demo version of a game called Orbitus.
It looks good and I was wondering if anyone out there has tried this
    game yet ?

I would like to hear opinions about it.

    Many thanks,

1190.1Do you mean OBITUS by Psygnosis?FORTY2::CADWALLADERRifle butts to crush you down...Thu Oct 17 1991 12:2621
Hi,
If you mean Obitus by Psygnosis it is an interactive icon & mouse driven
adventure game, where you have to interact with characters, collect
certain objects and explore various buildings to progress.

It has been around on the AMIGA for a while (I have an AMIGA but "dip
into" ST and Acorn conferences for interest), although I can't give you
	much detail because I only had a look at it, but didn't buy it myself;
it didn't seem quite my chalice of blood.

It includes, I believe, some action sequence arcade-style sections as
well as the usual explore and collect bits and is supposedly huge. It is
presented very nicely, and I think if it your type of game you should
give it consideration... it is one of the best of the type.

However as I said, it wasn't really "me".

If it *is* the game you mean I hope this helps a bit...

	Cheers.
