1171.1You mean STE, I suppose.AZUR::DESOZAJean-Pierre DE SOZA dtn 828-5559Thu Sep 05 1991 09:136
	As far as I know the good old ST has a 9-pin mouse/joystick connector
	compatible with the old ATARI game console.

	But I've read an article on the new STE hardware, and it did show 15-pin
	3-row connectors, for the joystick, and since joysticks could be
	connected into the mouse plug it should be the same.

    Don't get confused; The STe has the normal 9 pin connectors underneath
    for mouse/joystick port 0 and joystick port 1.

    The two additional ports on the left side are 15 pin and supposed to be
    for analogue joysticks.

    I can bring in the pinout info tomorrow if you want.

    OK, the official text is;

    CONTROLLER PORTS
    The STe computers have two 15 pin connector ports located on the left
    hand side panel to the right of the cartridge port. Use 15 pin
    connectors with 9 pin adapters to allow four player games (or six
    player games with joysticks connected to the 9 pin joystic ports),
    enhanced joysticks, paddles, or light guns.
