1076.0. "directory list to hard copy??" by SOLVIT::LANDRY () Wed Feb 20 1991 19:04

	Is there (there must be!) something that allows me to print out
	the folder/file tree off of a disk partition? I have a partition
	that has many megs of downloaded stuff that I've never really
	used - some I never will. I want to clean it out but it would
	be a lot easier if I could have a hard copy list of what is in
	there.

	thanks
	chris

    	Chris,

    		I think ICCA might be able to help. Check out 9.239 in
    	this conference, of you can find it on:

	I was reminded that the GOOD backup utility, which I use, can list
	the contents of a partition sorted by folder. Since this partition
	is backed up, this does the trick for me.

1076.3IMAGE CAT works, too!NEWVAX::MCLENDONSun Jun 02 1991 00:188
    As an alternative, IMAGE CAT, from WizWorks, POB 45, Girard, OH 44420 ($25)
    includes a shareware program called CD3 that does a very nice job. It
    uses condensed mode and 12lpi to squeeze several megabytes per printed
    page! It opens all subdirectories, too! And, includes totals at each
    level as well as the size and time and date stamp for each file. I'd
    like to see just the subdirectories... so I'm writing my own...
