    I AM INTERESTED IN DOWNLOADING SOME OF THIS SOFTWARE FOR MY ATARI.
    HOWEVER I AM UNSURE HOW TO GO ABOUT THIS !.
    SO COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME AN 'IDIOTS' GUIDE TO DOWNLOADING S/W.
    
    ALSO, COULD I USE A DECSTATION 300 USING PCSA, ONCE I HAVE COPIED THE
    DESIRED FILES TO MY DEFAULT DIRECTORY ?.
    
    FINALLY, I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE SOFTWARE SEEMS TO BE SCATERED ABOUT
    THE NETWORK. SO, IS THERE JUST ONE PLACE I CAN GO TO GET A COMPLETE
    LISTING OF SOFTWARE AVAILABLE AND/OR THE SOFTWARE IT'S SELF.

	Hi Dave, There are a lot of notes about downloading, we get moved by the moderator. There a lot of ways to download. The one that seems to work for most everyone is kermit. If you want to send me your mailstop I can send the Atari side programs and off-line I can point you at the vax-side stuff. I don't know about using a Decstation 300, most people use phone line transfers. The software gets scattered because the people who upload it stick it where they can. My old Atari archive on Aqua could go away at anytime. It is best to read 9.* from last to first. You can also get software off Usenet. Send me soe mail and we can discuss this offline. 	Dave, Reading note 1.1 will point you to all of the right notes. Could you please NOT use ALL capital letters when entering notes, it is VERY hard on the eyes. Thanks, Ray (the moderator)
