950.0. "Screen menus get corrupt with blitter and Cartridge" by STKHLM::ARENDI (VIA-GROUP TSC STOCKHOLM) Thu Aug 30 1990 09:13

    Hi!
I have experienced some problems with the new blitterchip
in the STE models. The thing that happends is that the screen
menus get corrupt when "scrolling" inside with the pointer
AND something is in the cartridge port. For me this happends
to be a sort of copy protection for a sequencer, Cubase, made
by Steinberg in Germany. I have tested this cartridge on some
other STE's and it's the same thing there. On the other hand
on a MEGA ST2 it worked fine. Any clues or experiences?

    Hi!
The problem with the "corrupted" screen was due to an old ROM version.
